NATA was pleased to participate in the National Roundtable on Arctic Emergency Preparedness held in Ottawa on February 24-26, 2014.  The event was hosted by the Munk Gordon Arctic Security Program.  The report on the proceedings, National Roundtable on Arctic Emergency Preparedness, Munk Gordon report 2014 (pdf 2.3M), was released on April 1.  NATA supports the recommendations in the report, particularly those dealing with the need for improved 24 hour weather reporting throughout the Arctic.
