Raised in the Northwest Territories. Lived in Cambridge Bay, Hay River and Yellowknife. 1967 – 1980 spent summers growing up an eventually working at our family lodge in Bathurst Inlet, NU. Married in 1982 moved to Cambridge Bay with Husband Peter, worked as Administration Officer – Government of NWT, Cambridge Bay
Returned to Yellowknife in 1985, Teri along with her husband Peter and partners, started a small fixed wing Air Service. Bathurst Air Services, where she held position of Operations Manager, co/owner. In 1988 Peter and his wife Teri along with Partners founded Air Tindi, where she held the role as Director, co-owner and VP Operations, Operations Manager/Dispatcher. 1988 Co-founder of Air Tindi Ltd., Director, Co-Owner, held the positions;VP Operations, Director of Operations, Safety Management Manager,
Teri have been involved in many non-profit organization through out the years, Air Tindi was always there to sponsor organizations that involved children, Teri was the subchapter coordinators for the Children’s Wish Foundation which over 10 years contributed a lot to children facing life threatening illness. Other non - profit organizations she was involved in as a Board Member were, Yellowknife Minor Hockey Association, NWT Tourism, Yellowknife Daycare Association.
Teri in April 2015 was honoured an honorary life Member of the Northern Air Transport Association.
After selling Air Tindi, Teri has stayed active in the Aviation Industry, as well as pursuing other interest.
Peter and Teri have two sons, Travis born in 1984, & Ryan in 1987 the both boys are working in the north, their businesses involved in serving the aviation and mining & business Industry. They are the proud grandparents of Asher who is now 4 years old.

Mr. Stephen Nourse was added to our illustrious list of Honourary Life Members at our 40th Annual Conference in April of 2016. Having represented NATA as Director, President, & Executive Director, Stephen has been involved with NATA in every role and capacity and truly embodies the spirit of Northern aviation.

Peter Arychuk born in Hay River, NT raised Fort Providence, NT, attended High School in Yellowknife, NT. Peter worked for Robinsons trucking were he drove truck and operated heavy equipment.
In 1980 Peter received his commercial Pilots License. Peter and his wife Teri were married in 1982, they moved to Cambridge Bay, NU where Peter was the foreman for Fred H Ross & Associates. Peter was responsible for the re-servicing the Hall Beech, NU and Gjoa Haven, NU runways; he was also responsible for the day-to-day operations of the Cambridge Bay Airport.
After returning to Yellowknife in 1985, Peter and his wife along with partners started a small air service, Bathurst Inlet Air which Peter co-owned and operated and flew for until 1988 when Peter his wife, and partners started Air Tindi. Peter held the position of Vice President, VP of Marketing, flight crew and co/owner. The four owned and operated Air Tindi until 2006 when they sold their company to Discovery Air.
Peter remained with the company as President for a few years after the sale, and ensured he remained available to assist where required. Peter flew a variety of aircraft over the past 35 years accumulating the majority of his 11000 hours on the Cessna 185, Turbine Otter, caravan, King Air’s and the Twin Otter. Peter still stays active in the industry, and is involved
in other ventures.
